AC/DC: Norwegian Concert Begins And Ends In 'Chaos'
February 18, 2009The Norwegian media is reporting that tonight's (February 18) AC/DC concert at the Telenor Arena at Fornebu, just outside Oslo, started and ended in chaos. Before the show, people ran along the E18 (European route which runs from Craigavon in the United Kingdom to Saint Petersburg in Russia, passing through Norway, Sweden, and Finland) and formed a long queue, which started in Bygdøy and ended at the concert arena. The show reportedly ended with bottles being thrown at police and some of the 23,000-strong crowd tearing down a fence on Snarøyveien, allowing them to walk down the congested road. There were also reports of several fights after the concert. Police vehicles at the site were the bottle-throwers' primary targets.
